1. Finish my track plan.
2. Build the bench work for my layout.

Coal Loading Terminal Mockup
I decided to make a mock up of a coal loading terminal so I would have something to build when I finish laying track on my HO scale layout. So lets get started,
Side A and B are identical in the measurements. They are 15" on one side (left side of photo bellow), and 9 1/2" other side (right side of photo):
Side A and template of side B
There 11" wide on the bottom side, and the top side was a little complicated due to how the top was cut: From the left side to the right side of the photo: 4" right, 3" down, 3 1/2" right, 2" down, and 3 1/4" right. There are two slots in the lower right and middle of side A (following the photo again) for the loading spots to load hopper cars (or what ever you use to haul coal) full of coal (that or pretty close). Side Cs measurements are: 15" tall and 8" wide.
Side A, B, and C ( C is the back wall)
Side D was as simple as side C. The measurements for side D are: 9 1/2" tall and 8" wide.
Side A, B, C, and D (side D is the front wall)
Now side E (which is the roof) was a little complicated like sides A and B, it is 16 1/2" long and 8" wide, you would need to shape it to the shape of the top of sides A, B, C, and D (refer to cutting the top of sides A and B).
The complete building
Remember, this is just a mock up, some height adjustments may be needed for the slots (in sides A and B) deepening on your layout track height.
